Note from Volunteer Center Coordinator

September 7, 2011 in News

I would like to introduce myself as the new Coordinator for the Volunteer Center of the Brazos Valley. I am genuinely looking forward to meeting and working with you very soon. My vision and goal is that this website is utilized to the best of its capabilities. By working with both agencies and volunteers alike, I know this can and will be accomplished.

I recognize that you may not have logged in recently or updated opportunities that are available for various reasons. As you may know, students will be coming back to school soon and they tend to make up a large majority of the volunteer force. It would be very beneficial for your organization to update your page and the opportunities available to better reflect your current offerings.

One last thing, within the next few months, there will be a new design to our website. The plan is for better visual appeal and increased functionality. Lucky for you, anything that is in our database will NOT be affected, so your organization can continue to use it as planned. I will be sure to keep you updated on the progress of our new website!
